New Fellowship Church is a part of our Lord Jesus Chist’s body. We are here to serve and invite the lost to christ. We are to enable people to become aware of God’s of life and respond in faith to this life in accordance with his will. New fellowship Church is here to nurture through preaching and teaching God’s word, to grow as God’s children and establish and maintain harmony between families, the church and other individuals. We strive to see in every human being an oject of God’s love.
Our goal at New Fellowship Church, is to lead people to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Bible. This is so they may understand and obey the word. We will respect the elderly and educate our children according to the word. Every member of the church body is critical of this ministry. There will be no big I’s and little U’s. We will hold fast to our faith’s confession as we walk by faith and not by sight and practice faith.
Our Pastor
Apostle Byrd began his ministerial journey in 1985 as a youth minister for Metro Youth for Christ, under the leadership of Lisa Johanon.
He was then called o serve under Bishop Gilbert Allen as a youth minister at Greater Apostolic for 5 years. He then became a part of Perfecting Church, where Bishop Marvin Winans is Pastor, serving for 11 1/2 years as the Children’s Church teacher and Minister.
Apostle Byrd was then led to serve as Sunday School Superintendent, Associate Minister, and Youth Pastor for Greater Marion Chapel under the leadership of Pastor Rashaad White III.
He then transitioned to Highter Ground Ministries and served as Pastor and Sunday School Teachur under Pastor Anthony Madison.
Being led by Holy Spirit, he launched out and started Divine Worship Ministries in 2009, as Overseer and Senior Pastor.
